If you have a medical emergency, please call Ambulance 000 or take your child to the nearest hospital.

We sometimes arrange short notice appointments (conditions apply).

Please call 02 8404 0567 to make an appointment to avoid unnecessary waiting for you and others.

We suggest that you call us to schedule an appointment weeks in advance so that we may be able to accommodate your schedule, otherwise you may email us on info@kids-clinic.com.au

A booking fee will incur when you make your appointment to secure it.

Please complete Online Registration Form and bring a doctor referral (usually your GP), medicare card, child’s Blue Book and other important documents or investigations for your first appointment.

We will contact you by telephone, sms message or email to confirm your appointment date and time a few days before it is scheduled.

A referral letter from your GP (or a specialist) listing their Medicare Provider Number is required. Note that it is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that this is valid and is updated every twelve monthsOur staff will remind you if your referral is due to expire. This letter is mandatory for your medicare rebate.

Arrive to your appointment 20 minutes earlier in order to complete administration works.

We charge an additional amount to the standard Medicare fee (gap fee) depending on the complexity of the consultation which may vary up to $350. This portion of the consultation fee will not be covered by Medicare. It is important that you understand this gap prior to receiving treatment.

Payment (cash or by credit card) is required at the time of the consultation. We also provide online claiming with instant medicare rebate (no need for the carer to go to medicare office).

Appointment and Cancellation Terms and Conditions:

Please mark the date of your appointment in your calendar. While we make every effort to remind our clients of appointments by email or phone at least 2 days prior to the appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain his/her schedule.

Part of the booking fee of up to $150 will be incurred when you make your appointment to secure it. THIS FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE. This fee is not affiliated with MBS or Medicare item numbers.

If you are required to reschedule your appointment, please give us notice 48 hours prior. The booking fee will be brought forward if you are required to reschedule before the 48 hours.

Thank you for your cooperation. Advance notice allows us to better accommodate our clients on the waiting list.

Initial consultation is between 10 – 45 minutes and may go up to 60minutes

Follow-up appointments are 15-25 minutes

Time of your consultation may vary depending on the complexity and the number of issues and medical treatment with the paediatrician.

We are happy to support parents and caregivers with supporting letters or completing supportive forms. However fee will apply for all supportive forms such as,

  1. Centerlink
  2. Housing Commissions.
  3. Other Government forms.

Medico-legal Letter or Report takes a number of hours to write and it is a legal responsibility and if requested the cost will be calculated prior and a quote will be advised prior to drafting.

Prescriptions are only given during the consultations.

Ongoing medical care requires regular review, assessment and monitoring. Children’s physiology is rapidly growing and developing. As such their medical needs may change. Some medications require close monitoring, dosage adjustment and more frequent clinical measurements than others. Some also require additional Government Authority approval.

Prescriptions will not be posted, faxed or collected under any circumstances.

Results from medical tests will not be given over the phone.

A follow-up appointment time will be made at the time medical studies are ordered.

An appointment will be made for any results requiring further medical attention.

Your referring doctor may chase a copy of your medical results from pathology company.
