Kids Clinic is excited to partner with CHADIS (Child Health and Development Interactive System) which is a unique, web-based diagnostic and tracking tool, recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), designed to assist professionals in addressing parents’ concerns about their child’s behaviour and development efficiently.
The CHADIS questionnaires may be completed by parents and/or caregivers. At this stage and in our setting, it is recommended to be completed with the help of one of our therapists. At Kids Clinic, this may happen soon after initial consultation with our paediatrician.
Parents collaborate in their child’s care by completing the requested CHADIS questionnaires by the paediatrician with the help of Kids Clinic therapist. CHADIS analyses the question responses and help the paediatrician identifying the child’s strengths and difficulties which help in making clinical decision to support and manage the child accordingly.
Parents, teachers, caregivers or teens (with the help of our therapists) complete a computerised interview with the help of standardised questionnaires about development, behaviour, mental and learning skills online, via a secure internet site from home or in the clinic.
CHADIS information is collected from interviewers and analysed by Kids Clinic clinicians. Data collected is available only to authorised users.
Paediatricians review result of the caregivers’ questionnaires, their top concerns, provisional diagnosis, and accordingly analyse and identify their issues.
Paediatrician may choose to exchange information with teachers. CHADIS is intended to be used repeatedly from one visit to another, as well as between visits, to track the progress of patient care.
